On March 13, 2017, at approximately 12:20 pm, the complainant, a 59 year-old male, was delivering merchandise in the rear of the 1000 block of Ludlow Street. When finished making the delivery the complainant got into his truck to leave when he was approached by an unknown white male who opened the door, punched the complainant in the face and dragged him out of the truck. The suspect then took the complainant’s truck which contained envelopes containing a large sum of money from the collections of several businesses during the day and fled. The truck was recovered a short distance away unoccupied. The suspect then fled on foot after taking an unknown amount of cash from inside the truck. The complainant suffered minor injuries.
Suspect Description: White male, 25-35 years-of-age, 5’7”, medium build, goatee, wearing a red and gray hooded jacket with a black hat underneath the hood, jeans, black gloves, and carrying a dak colored jacket.
